The day of the Second Annual Quarter Quell. The 50th Hunger Games. It was a day that would change the life of 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy forever.
Twice the number of usual tributes were chosen; 4 from each district, and Haymitch had been one of those unlucky 4.
The odds had not been in his favor that year, but he had a reason to fight; for his loved ones, for the glory of District 12.
