Mature
Sweet, innocent, and sheltered Aurveila Thorne wanted nothing but a smooth sailing college year in her new school. She keeps to herself most of the time. Her books and her ballet classes are enough to keep her busy. On her first day, she happened to see a tall, handsome, blond haired student all bruised up. She tried to help him but instead, he yelled at her and demanded that she go away. On the same day, she also happened to cross paths with that blond boy's dark haired brother with lots of tattoos that she couldn't get her eyes off of.

She was then filled with regret because after that day all she received was relentless bullying and humiliation from the two most popular boys in the whole school.

She couldn't understand why until one fateful night.

Promise?

9 parts Ongoing

Iris lived her whole life in fear since she was nine running from the abuse and blame her stepfather constantly threw at her. She couldn't wait to turn eighteen to get away and when she did that's exactly what she did. She left and never looked back, attending a college that is hours away and studying a career that will help her to leave that life behind. It wasn't going to be easy for her because of the nightmares, anxiety, and fear that lingered from her past. However, what she didn't expect was to befriend the playboy and class clown Wade Archer, which she cannot stand, along with some other friends. Showing her a new world of genuine friendship and love, Iris starts to think there could be more to her life. But happiness only lasts so long for people like her. "I'm never leaving you alone again. So stop trying to push me away Emerson." He's never been this serious in his life. No longer able to hold the tears back, they fell down her cheeks and her voice broke, "Promise?" "Promise."
