The Dance of the Dragons had begun as soon as Rhaenyra heard of her father's death and Aegon's hasty coronation. 

The Greens and the Blacks knew a war between blood and dragons would be detrimental to the Targaryen line and the realm. 

With both sides focused on gathering allies and not attacking one another, the Greens called upon the highest of lords from the Westerlands, Stormlands, and the Reach. 

The Greens' Plan: Find wives for Aemond and Daeron to secure the most power in Westeros.
