When a secretive research site ends up making the mistake of a lifetime, the world slowly descends into chaos. It's only ever been seen in movies, but there's no other way to describe what happened to the earth and the people living on it, other than an apocalypse. A group of humans stick together to try their best to survive, they eventually lose their home, forcing them to travel and find a new one, they make friends and enemies along the way, but they manage to find quite an odd group of survivors, if they can even be called that. The humans, desperate to survive yet scared for their lives, have to decide, do they risk trusting a group of talking robots, or do they take their chances on their own.

quick tldr disclaimer: This story contains quite a bit of darker subjects and therefore is meant for "older" readers. No to quote Alex Hirsch but "too scary for babies, too dumb for adults, perfect...for you" about genre, id say this is the same genre as whatever the owl house and gravity falls are doing. Meganimals is about a young girl named Raja, who gets thrown into a new fantastical environment where she has to cope with daily life. Doing that, she slowly uncovers the secrets of her now deceased family. This results in her coming face to face with a horrible truth destined to turn the following years of her life into absolute hell :) This story is also about war or rather the consequences afterwards , how propaganda affects societies and figuring out who and what you can trust. Last but not least, this story is about friendship. More specifically the friendship of two very unalike and also very similar children, who end up being each other's anchor in their pretty messed up lives. If there's anything big happening you'll get a disclaimer infant of the chapter, otherwise just be aware this contains a couple of swear words, quite a few darker topics (politics gone wrong, mental health, trauma ect) so maybe watch out for those too. Also occasional descriptions of violence, but the first few chapters are pretty tame so for now there's nothing to worry about. unless ur worrying about curse words cause they will be there, usually. Regarding upload schedule, I write and edit it all myself so new chapters always take a lil time before they are uploaded. I apologize in advance, but rest assured I am actively working on this thing.

To even survive, Luca has no other choice but to take the hands of General Grawl and blindly follow him, even if his troubled past made it hard to even trust a hierarchy such as the military, let alone a complete stranger who isn't even human. Little does he know, that he will also simultaneously have to guide the general through a very rough time, created by the toxic environment he is in, where a fluttering heart and an identity go against any regulations.
