They keep each other sane without even realizing it. It's always been the four of them. Until they meet them. Until she meets ℎ𝑖𝑚. Booker stopped caring a long time ago. Between taking care of his sick grandma, dodging bullets and keeping up with school, life is just something he's pushing through. The only things holding him together? His grandma and a stupid promise he made in the seventh grade. Neither of them is looking for more, but sometimes, the people you least expect become the ones you need the most.
