The responsibility you held was weighing down on you, making you think more about them and less about you. You didn't mind though. Anything to stay away from the sinful place you call home. After a while of putting up with Danny though, you had you're last straw ripped away when he hurt you're beloved Mary. You ran away to start a new life, taking Mary with you. You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't... At first it seemed strange but pleasant to finally get noticed, but soon you realized, nothing good came from the Corporal. In fact, your life seemed to turn into a living Dystopia. Before the intro, I would like to shout out a friend. They requested the idea be made into a fic so here it is. Sunshine and rainbows, they say. When you're a child, it's easy to fold into the happiness of being a child. The world's weights don't exist for you. As we grow, we discover pain; Are we really discovering it, or have our eyes simply opened to pain? Their childhood is but a fuzzy memory, blocking away the mental pain. Even now, they can't quite remember if they had a family or if they were loved. Even as a port mafia executive, they don't have much. Their only true bond is with a boy who knows the betrayal within their heart. It should have been them, not the one who put the betrayal in their heart. When they are hit with an ability and their whole body and mind turned back into that vulnerable child, why is it Dazai who gets the job of looking after them? This place is so familiar, you dont know why. It sends a chill down your spine as you think about what comes next. You sit up. You feel the soft embrace of the buttercups beneath your cold hands. It was strange, though. You had a thick, fluffy sweater on with matching fluffy PJ's but you were still freezing cold. You decided to explore. There was a hallway in the distance. You walked towards it, a door is seen clearer at the end of the hallway. You walk faster. You reach the 10-foot tall doorway.
