After Tris and Four brought down the Faction System and killed Jeanine, they got married the next year and had a baby girl named Natalie. They were living a happy life until they remembered Eric was still alive, wants to keep the Faction System running and continue what Jeanine started.
The only way he can do that is to keep Four and Tris' child away so they can listen and follow what he says. Something will happen to their child every time they do not listen.
Tris makes a deal with her brother Caleb to take Natalie away and into another faction. Caleb takes Natalie to foster parents in Abnegation and live her life safe and away from Eric.
Will Natalie stay away from all the trouble and be safe or will she return? Will she go and find her real parents when she finds out that she is adopted?

~ Adding a new twist to the infamous series Divergent by Veronica Roth ~ When Evelyn Johnson, mother of Tobias Eaton and wife of Marcus Eaton, fakes her death in order to escape the domestic abuse of her husband, she flees to the Factionless in hopes to find a haven. She's met with uncertainty and guardedness from the very people she used to support by providing basic survival supplies. Up until she reveals a secret that changes - and will change - everything: she's pregnant. She asks the Factionless for their help and they oblige out of sympathy once she recounts the trauma she went through. Astrid Johnson grows happily among the Factionless - she makes friends and feels included in the community, but her existence remains unknown to her father Marcus and her brother Tobias. Evelyn tells her their story and trains her from the earliest age to run, climb, fight, and also jump on and off moving trains. She raises Astrid with the idea that at age 16, she will join Dauntless and secretly look out for Tobias, whom Evelyn mostly lost sight of. Evelyn sees it as the only way to reconnect with her long-lost son, wishing he would join the boiling revolution among the Factionless. Except that obviously, things don't always go to plan.
