Caius Agosti was supposed to be nothing more than a mission-another name on a list, another task to complete. I never planned to fall for him. Never meant to let him carve himself into my soul.

But I did.

And in the end, I destroyed us both.

I left, shattering his heart and mine in the process, believing I would never see him again in this lifetime. Believing it was better this way.

But fate is cruel.

Now, I have nowhere else to turn. The man I betrayed, the man who once loved me, is the only one who can save me.
