Santana Lopez went straight into the military after high school. After being overseas for 2 months, she broke up with Brittany. After being overseas for a few years, she came home and met a woman named Sofia Laurent. They end up getting married after 3 months of dating and having a son named Santiago Legend Laurent in 2015. Sofia died when Santiago was 2 years old.

Santana can't take it and sends Santiago to Lima to leave with her mother until she can get herself together. She sells all their cars but one and works to pay it off. When she does that she ends up working out and catches the eye of famous singer/songwriter Angel Monet Morgan. She gets offered a job to work for Angel as a bodyguard. After 3 months of working for her, Santana gets Santiago back and they move in with Angel. In 2021, Angel had a daughter named Athena Monet Ali.

Now the year is 2023, Santiago is 7 years old and Athena is 2 years. Santana and Angel are in love with each other but don't want to say anything fearing of ruining their friendship.
