The number 2 doesn't mean that there is a first book, it means that there is also another book called Magic Animal Club.

In this book Stampy is younger than Netty.

Stampy finds himself in a heap of trouble that he wishes to go away. He gets bullied by a random person for no good reason at all. He had kept it a secret from his older sister, Netty and since their parents had died, she is the only person he can trust. But then he meets a girl. Not any girl, a fan. She has gained Stampy and Netty's trust. Soon she helps Stampy and Netty they to find out who is this 'person'. Will they all succeed and find this 'person' or will Stampy be bullied forever...
