Four out of the nine siblings died the night that Kai went on a murder spree to kill the second set of twins (Liv and Luke). After the incident, their father, Joshua, and Jo decide even though Kai is gone to send Gracie away to a far-away magic school called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
