The teenage daughter of Albany City's infamous Armstrong crime family finds herself unexpectedly with a baby and is swiftly kicked out of her home. She ends up being taken in by a paramedic who's more than willing to help, giving her a glimpse of what love and family are truly about as they grow closer.

But of course, she can't escape her family's dark past forever. Despite her best efforts to protect her loved ones, danger looms large. She's determined to try, though, and even starts working with a covert government organization to finally bring her criminal brother to justice.
