Valentina, meanwhile, would be happy with just one recovered memory. She would love to know how she became tattooed, or even just what the Chinese character on her ankle means. But, as some of her friends know, the price of that one memory might be set higher than she is willing to pay. (There are some ethically interesting choices from the main characters, thus the mature rating. But nothing graficly shocking should be included, just a couple of murders discussed that could absolutely not be avoided.) (All characters are strictly fictional. I feel this should be highlighted, for while inspiration is always tied to the outer world, imagination composes a story out of it and colors the outcome with dreams and nightmares.) Kailey was reluctant at first and didn't want to accept it, but after thinking about it and realizing this might be the only way to stay away and be safe from Alex for good, she caves in and decides she'll do it: she'll be the leader. What will happen next with Alex and the gang looking to get revenge? Will she be able to stay safe from them? And what will happen when someone or something is out there looking for her, but nobody knows what they look like...? (In serious need of editing.
