Zeus sends Percy, Annabeth and Grover on yet another quest (not surprising)
However, in the end, Thalia is left with a horrible truth and a lot to say to her dad.
Note: I got the ending of this from ticktock and had to fill in the start and middle, and its my first ever Percy Jackson fanfic so I'm not sure how good it'll be.

All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone. Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react.
