When the second wave of 1940 evacuations hit the UK, during the events of Dunkirk, Margo and her family welcome estranged Martha and Betty into their home. Whilst Margo struggles to come to terms with the war, another war rages on in her heart when she locks gaze with a brown eyed boy at a train station.
