Stuck in a school bus in the middle of nowhere, what else could go wrong? 

How about a bunch of unexplained things happening and only to one girl first?! 

Sky's you're normal teanage girl but maybe there's more instore for her then she thought. Her best friend disapreared for a year, no word to sign until he showed up again like nothign had happened....yet he went into ignoring her and she could do nothing about it. 

Derry has secrets of his own though, one's that he really doesn't want Sky to find out but of course one that involves her life and everyone elses. 

But is Sky closer to the truth then Derry thinks? Will he tell her? Will she be able to survive? And what is this thing after them, what conection does it have to Sky and/or Derry not including the other three marked students.

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room.
