A Saiyan's pride can be a powerful, spiteful tool. While under Frieza's boot heel Vegeta's had enough. The missions have been becoming more and more dangerous and the Saiyan trio of Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz have been becoming more and more powerful in the process. It was getting to a boiling point. Either they'd die in battle or at the hands of Frieza who'd fear their growing power.

Upon hearing of some wish granting orbs on the Planet Namek Vegeta and crew set off to find them. But they learn that the Namekian Dragon Balls may not be capable of granting their particular wish. Instead telling the Saiyans of a set of Dragon Balls that may be capable of pulling it off. But their creator is a dangerous tyrant that had been banished from Planet Namek. His name is Lord Slug...
