In denial of the demon's will, Rolan White tried to make a deal with it. To take away his angel powers in exchange of their freedom. Instead of accepting the deal, the demon put a curse on the angel baby and declared it the heir of the underworld, the demon in fiery red hair and blazing blue eyes. The prophecy stated in his return to the mortal world. But still skepted, Gabby didn't ever try to believe in the concept. For him it was just a dream. Everything is fuzzy, knowing that the demon called the baby not his name, but Neo Flamelocks.
