Elliott gets a call no parent ever wants. Upon arriving at the hospital, she goes frantic looking for her daughter. A tragic accident took her wife, leaving her alone to raise their baby daughter. The accident left Elliott broken and distraught, struggling with her job on the police force and raising an infant with no help. Back in her hometown, a workaholic lawyer decides to visit her hometown for the holiday season. She bumps into her ex and reminisces all the fun things the used to share and starts to question her life. Things only become more confusing when she finds out that he is getting married to another woman who is everything she used to be.

Although she thought she would get an office job, her plans were never stuck behind a computer. Typing her days away wouldn't suit her. Her boss found that out quite fast. No bother though.
