I saw Alex doing push-ups,and I positioned myself behind him, took a skipping rope from a table, and started skipping.
After about eight skips, I turned to see what Eva and Daisy were up to, but they remained in the same spot. I frowned at them, signaling for them to move but instead, they pointed at Alex and hid behind each other.
Why did they suddenly conceal themselves? I looked to my right, feeling perplexed and startled because Alex was gazing intently at me "You startled me so badly" I exclaimed, rubbing my chest while I stared at Alex, who appeared completely unbothered as he observed me from head to toe. My inner voice questioned 'Is this what you wear to the gym?' Well, I was dressed in a nude pink frock and white sneakers.
"Why are you here?" he asked with apparent indifference 'Seriously! I had no intention of engaging in conversation with you either, but here we are, it must be destiny' I followed Alex as he turned around, looking just as perplexed as I felt "I wanted to speak with you" I replied, slowly shifting my gaze to see what he was doing.
