Unfortunately, the crimes he committed aren't forgotten or forgiven. So he finds himself infront of his father's council, waiting for his sentence, knowing that only death is the fate he deserves for being a traitor, no matter why he did what he did. But somehow his fate makes a weird turn and it's not death what he gets.
