Garfield has rescued Princess Pomni, got married, and now is time to meet the parents. Garfield, Pomni, and SpongeBob set off to Las Vegas to meet Pomni's mother and father. But not everyone is happy. Garfield and the mayor of Las Vegas Barty find it hard to get along, and there's tension in the marriage. It's not just the family who are unhappy. Kurt Bozwell returns from a failed attempt at rescuing Pomni, and works alongside his mother, Louisa, to try and find a way to get Garfield away from Pomni.
