We all know about the IS and how only females operate them with the exception of ichika, along with the fact that it's cores are desired by everyone, including organisations like phantom task... but here something is different.

Here's a question: how are machines or IS's dealt with if any ever went rouge or an organisation made up of them attacked anything important? Well luckily this was predicted and another mecha suit was created known as: the Void destabiliser, or 'VD' for short which became a countermeasure group. Though there aren't many users just a few or one experienced user could take down multiple opponents with their skill and power, and its creator is infamously known as tabane's husband:... kyzen ryuuji.
