Heartstrings (Book 01)

It was a love at first sight between Police officer Chase Carter and a beautiful, sweet girl Maya Collins. Maya works as a fashion designer and often volunteers at animal shelters to express her love for animals. Chase came to know Joseph, Maya's older brother, through Mason, Chase's younger brother and best friend. Mason and Joseph met in college during their undergraduate years, when they met at Cornell. Mason went off to Yale for law school and Joseph, meanwhile, remained at Cornell to become an accomplished computer engineer. As Maya became friends with Chase and their relationship blossomed, when Chase proposed to her to become his girlfriend and later his fiancé, their relationship becomes a bit rocky but still strong as Maya got into a car accident and almost died. An unknown force kills her off several times, leaving Chase (and Mason) in a path of grief. A few months later, Chase works with Mason to fulfill Maya's last wishes, and later, receives an unknown call. This unknown man is claiming to be Maya's killer. The two brothers join forces and pull out an investigation regarding Maya's disappearance. Could Maya possibly be alive? And will they discover the truth? The investigation may discover hidden networks and other mysterious forces than we realize.
