Akiyoshi had, unfortunately, overestimated Toumu's resolve. While Toumu's physical capabilities were amazing, his mental fortitude was staggering compared to her. Hers being a feeble thread that snapped when faced with the slightest strain.

  Through no fault of his own, Akiyoshi watched as she abandoned Akiyoshi for a shallow life of indulgence, choosing fleeting pleasures over the bonds they had once shared. If that was her choice, then she, too, would be left behind. A relic of a chapter closed forever.

This story picks up right after the last panel of Fighter Toumu's Corruption by Fuya, continuing the tale in a way that holds the guild accountable for their arrogance and exposes Toumu for the feeble, unworthy friend she truly was. Cheating is, without question, despicable; no further explanation is needed. What irks me most isn't just the act but the utter lack of remorse she showed.
