Harper Scott does not have the normal responsibilities of a 22 year old. Having to watch her broken family and take responsibility of her sisters child, she comes out short on money and time. She works 3 jobs, pays rent for her apartment and takes care of her sisters 2 year old child Sarah Scott. Harper is struggling to complete all of her responsibilities whilst she battles her families accusations and monthly bills.

Then there's him...

Hudson White. Laid back, oddly charming, unorganised, blunt, sarcastic, ....... all around great guy right?

Not.

When Harper finally sucks up her pride and goes running to find a roommate in order to take some weight of her shoulders, she runs into Hudson at the library who's looking for a model campaign and a place to crash. After looking for a roommate for weeks Harper is desperate to find someone as she can't provide enough money to keep Sarah and herself in the apartment.

Harper isn't so sure if she wants Hudson to live with her as her apartment is full of the nasty food stained clothes and a child... Will she let Hudson in to help her fight the demons and pumpkins inside of her and her home, or will she block him out like every other person who came around to help?
