The summer of 1962, Elizabeth 'Eliza' Smalls moves to the Valley with her mom, stepdad, and younger brother, Scotty. A move she'd rather not have made. Certain that it's going to be a boring summer, Eliza has low expectations until she and her brother meet and befriend the Sandlot boys, including one Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez. Suddenly, the summer has the makings of being one of the best of her life. That is, until Scotty gets the whole gang into the biggest pickle they'd ever been in.
