I growl, a low, primal warning as her body stiffens beneath me. I hate that she's scared, but I have no choice. This has to be done.
"Fuck, Solie, if you move again... I can't... all I'll see is red," I can barely hold myself together.
It feels like I'm burning alive. Every part of me screams to mark her, claim her, make her mine. The fear radiating off her cuts through me, but it doesn't matter. I'm locked onto her, my vision narrowing to those beautiful emerald eyes of hers. She is everything. I can see the trust she's fighting to hold on to.
