Juane Arc and Blake Belladonna are accidentally left behind during a Recon mission, left behind in a forest filled with death and the ruins of the old world. they must walk there way back to beacon all the while as they encounter grim and new faction of human cannibals called the outsiders , decendants of the humans that were left behind during the great war.
Blake slowly grows to trust juane and even begins to fall for him on their journey
It's a long ass march. Movement is life in the cruel world that is outside the walls of every kingdom. eat or be eaten.
