Alexandria Winchester had the world at her fingertips, yet she was too busy seeing the flaws in it. She had once seen the beauty the world stored, but she was losing her ability to see the positive characteristics to the darkness and ugliness that surrounded her.
Haden Cross had the weight of the world on his shoulders, and his inner turmoil was convincing him that a life full of anguish wasn't worth living. He didn't recall a time when he was happy, and he cloaks his pain and sadness with anger and inflicting harm on others.
The two unlikely friends collide unexpectedly, although their relationship couldn't possibly allow them to break one another, not when they were already broken. All that was left was to fix one another.
