In a war torn dimension high in the heavens a baby girl was birthed from a divinely forsaken woman, then delivered to a mere mortal. This is the story of Aruna, now aged 18. 

I was so light, I didn't notice my laughter pushing me closer and closer to the edge of the cloud. I didn't realize until finally, I toppled over. I looked around, suddenly hyper aware of the indigo sky. We were flying. I reached my hand out to caress the beautifully arched feathers, when suddenly he brought his mouth to my ear,

"I'm so sorry, Genesis. I wish I could explain." He whispered, voice filled with sorrow.
