15 year-old Liza Bennett has always been considered an underdog by first glance. As weak, and defenseless. But once you get a taste of her sarcastic comments, and killer punches, you will understand that she has many layers of secrets, and a twisted past. When a neighbor finds Liza's neglectful mother laying, dead, in their front lawn, everything changes. 

With her sole caretaker dead, Liza is faced with the possibility of foster care, unless a family member will step up, wiling to take her in. Maybe a distant aunt, or cousins? 

But what will happen when she finds out that she has brothers? Will they break her barriers down? Will they find of the dark secrets of her past?
