Raised by the Nightbrother Govro Uurak, who saw potential in his Force sensitivity, he learns to survive and fight in a world where weakness means death.

Living among the Flying Mountains Clan, known for their natural Force connection that causes the mountains to hover, he faces belittlement due to his heritage. Despite this, his mentor trains him rigorously, emphasizing the importance of finding a weapon that suits him. By the age of ten, he masters dual-wielding a hatchet and a sledgehammer, preparing for the battles and challenges that lie ahead.
