I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. It wasn't too long ago that a snowfall happened in Nathan's hometown in Montana. And a rather large one at that. It caused school to be cancelled, but it still left room for learning from home. However, there was something different about this snowstorm. People and friends of Nathan began to go missing, and once returned, they had turned into horrible monsters forcing every last remaining uninflected human to band together and fight for survival and to uncover the mystery of the snowstorm and the monsters in its wake.
