Akari, a girl from a world that revolves around the battle of light and darkness, was given a mission to become a guardian of a chosen world as a requirement of her school for warriors. The task is simple, go to a chosen world and protect the people living within it. Yet it all backfired completely when Akari, and her spirit familiar/mentor Fucca, crash landed in Norrisville instead of the world after it.

Now stuck in there until help arrives, Akari discovered an ancient magic that was left untouched for years, and it might as well help her with her new mission!

"I have waited centuries for this day to finally come - the day in which I would return by your side, aiding you whenever needed and keeping my promise to you. Truly, I am happy to be reunited with you once more, Ninja." He is silent all but for a minute, taking in your appearance with large eyes in his silence. It was quick to dissipate, though, when they reached the burning flames acting as your hair on top of your head, recognition immediately replacing the awe. "Wait, a honkin' minute-- it's you!" He exclaims, flabbergasted, as he directs an accusing finger over to you. "I saw you earlier back in the cafeteria over those flames you made appear-- which was soooo bruce-- ah, not important! Who are you?" The corners of your eyes crinkle ever so slightly to accompany the amused smile that forms under your mask, finding his question - and the quick added compliment - humorous. It was difficult to hold back a titter, even with the current situation you've invited yourself into going on. "It is understandable that you do not know who I am. I have been absent from Norrisville for many years, after all, along with some..."dirastic changes" to my appearance. So, allow me to introduce myself. I am the Phoenix. A friend and ally to you, the Ninja." ~ { DISCLAIMER: I do not own Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja or any music, art, or images that are shown here. They each go to their respective owners. Akari is a Kurta who was born in Yorknew City, so she was never present for the massacre. As such, her life as a Kurta is very different from a true Kurta survivor. Now in her early 20s, Akari has gotten used to a pretty routine life aside from occasional adventures as a Hunter. Her regular job at the local library is a very nice complement to her Hunter title. As a Crime Hunter, her job is to investigate crimes, and she uses the books around her to learn information relevant to those crimes. On one uneventful day, Akari meets a nice, young fellow who visits the library for personal research to aide in his position as a Blacklist Hunter. Akari, a Hunter herself, is mesmerized by his intelligence. Just when she thought that meeting the stranger was a lucky anomaly, things take an interesting turn as Akari teams up with two unlikely, and dangerous, individuals. One is in it for the help Akari can provide, and the other is just trying to keep her alive. It all comes down to a death match to see who will win - Akari's team or the deadly threat. Note: Some of the original characters may be slightly different from the manga/anime characters, and some may be completely out of character. Additionally, the book does not follow the timeline of the original story. Warning: Language & several mentions of death. (After all, this is HxH we're talking about.) Disclaimer: I do not own Hunter x Hunter or its characters. I do own the plot, the OC's, and the book cover image. Akari Aya is not your average UA High student. Born with a reality-warping quirk that mirrors the powers of the Scarlet Witch, Akari has the ability to alter the fabric of reality itself-but only when her emotions spiral out of control. As the daughter of All For One, a legendary villain whose shadow looms over her, Akari's life has been shaped by a dangerous inheritance. She's determined to keep her past hidden and her powers in check, but it's a struggle she's losing. When Akari enrolls at UA to become a hero, she's determined to prove herself-if only to escape her father's influence. But she didn't count on the fiery and explosive Katsuki Bakugo. What begins as a rivalry quickly evolves into a complex, fiery connection. As Akari and Bakugo grow closer, they must navigate the tension between their opposing personalities, their quirks, and the overwhelming feelings that start to bloom between them. However, Akari's powers are a double-edged sword. As the year progresses, the weight of her father's legacy grows heavier, and the chaos she can create becomes harder to control. With every emotional outburst, the boundaries between what's real and what's warped blur. Her heart pulls her toward Bakugo, but her quirk could destroy everything she loves. And it's not just her quirk that's dangerous-villains from her father's past begin to make their move, threatening the fragile life she's trying to build. As Akari and Bakugo face greater threats from all sides, the line between heroism and villainy becomes dangerously thin. Can Akari control the volatile power inside her, or will she become the very thing she's feared? A story of love, power, and inner turmoil, this series delves into the struggle between embracing one's true self and the dark legacy that comes with it. In a world that expects her to choose between hero or villain, Akari must decide who she really wants to be-and if Bakugo's love can survive the storm brewing within her.
