Power. What is power? For some, it is the ability to lift something heavy. For others it is the ability to push through any obstacle, the ability to endure any torture.

But for gods... Faith, fear, and age is a way to measure their power. But when one is forgotten, unfeared, and has little history to prove their existence... What happens?

Kur was empty, the rivers had dried, the fires extinguished, and the cages rusted. So Ereshgikal and Nergal abandoned their thrones and power.

They lived among the humans, it had been 300 years. It was a peaceful time, something the two never had as gods.

Sadly, peace never lasts.

Hello, this is a re-writing of a FF I used to have on wattpad... which I accidentally deleted.

This story is intended to be a semi-serious AU of DxD. The pacing will not be the best, some characters will act different, but it will mostly follow the same story line... untill Kyoto, Because I cant remember anything after that and I hate the rating games BS. Also! I can't remember most canon events that well, so if I do things in the wrong order or I mark something as the wrong year...
