Aventurine is called off his vacation with a new assignment on the planet Eternium. The IPC has been banned from this planet for 8 years due to an incident involving the Crown Princess who was 13 at the time. Now 21 the Princess has invited the IPC back to her planet and Aventurine has been tasked with getting on the Princess' good side and brokering a trade agreement with her. Very quickly though Aventurine begins to have feelings for the Eterni Princess, but her people don't feel or view romance the same way other species do. That doesn't stop Aventurine from indulging these feelings and taking a gamble on a one in a million chance that the Eterni Princess will end up being his.
