Whilst holding them in the cradle of her embrace, she talked lores and epics to the child of adam and eve. For this is her purpose-to preach, to tell, and to live-so that all flesh might know an open heaven to accept like receiving gifts as a child.

This book is a representation of my life over the past seven years. I first started writing poetry when I went to foster care when I was 15 years old. Poetry was my outlet for all of the anger I had inside with nowhere for it to go in a healthy way. Poetry for me is like the second baby that I have birthed and grow from my stomach, out of the labor pains of my life's trails. All of the blood, sweat and tears over the years, as I'm birthing my pain, quite literally. My poems are the placenta to the after birth of all of the pushing that I've had from the storms in my life. God is the doctor that stitches me up from all of the straining I did from not pushing correctly for years and years, until I finally birth His masterpiece; the healed version of myself.
