Paige Stars is fearless-literally. Thanks to a damaged amygdala after witnessing her father's murder, she doesn't experience fear like the average person. Instead, she experiences a whole lot of trouble. Exiled by her high school , Paige keeps her circle small, and by small, it means only relying on her best friend Andy Wright and harboring an epic crush on Mason Stone, the rich, popular football star.

Enter Nicholas Black, a snarky, street-smart runaway with a criminal record and a price on his head. Most people love, respect and turn to their father for everything, Nicholas would rather be anywhere far from his. That is kinda expected when your father is a drug lord with a big vision of controlling the entire drug system in America. When Nicholas stows away in Paige's car and offers to help her win Mason's heart in exchange for a place to hide, Paige takes him up on the deal. But their plan spirals into absolute chaos when Mr Black decides he wants his son back. So now everything is on the table: dodging Nicholas' dangerous sister/ assassin, Kylie; narrowly escaping Bella's schemes; and surviving detentions, football rivalries, an over the top family reunion and a few suspiciously close calls with the law.

As Paige and Nicholas grow closer amidst the madness, Paige begins to wonder if Mason is really the one she wants-or if her true match has been hiding in plain sight all along. With everything-and everyone-on the line, Paige must decide: follow her carefully laid plans or embrace the wild, unpredictable journey her life has become? 
All because of a stupid Wish.
