Devil in Her Heart (Hell's Heroes Book One)

Life prepared Hesper Bray for many different experiences; it had not prepared her for the sight of a golden-winged creature storming the Pearly Gates while an army of terrified children clung to the skirts of their ballroom gown. As it turns out, the golden-winged creature is none other than Lucifer, who turns out to be more of a kindly angel than a literal devil. Lucifer and Hesper embark on an epic journey through multiple afterlife realms in search of a missing god, while also trying to right the wrongs done by the other angels in Heaven. Together these two learn people (and angels) are not always what people expect them to be and learn valuable lessons about found family, positive self-talk, and the power of belief.
