When Paris was 5, she her brothers, father and mother went to the park because they had a day of. While Paris was playing with another kid, she laughed when he got hurt. When the boy started bleeding, Paris wanted to touch it.
The entire Romano family is a bit crazy you could say, but under all that craziness, they're the most loving family ever. Except Clara -their mother/wife- she was the most innocent one in thst family. She hated blood and people getting hurt. So, when she saw Paris laughing when a boy got hurt, she knew she had to do something.
Clara, sent her own daughter, to a mental institution. The entire family was devastated when they couldn't find Paris in her room that night. When they found out thst Clara sent her to a mental institution, they went livid. They wanted to kill Clara but knew they couldn't, since she was the only one who knew in which mental institution Paris was. There was millions all over the world.

"I-I heard Alex and Aiden talking in Italian!" she stammered, her eyes wide with panic. "They said something about the Mafia! Are we being threatened by the Mafia?" Her voice cracked, and tears threatened to spill from her brown eyes. The room fell silent for a moment. My brothers exchanged looks, and then, without warning, we all burst into laughter. Nefeli stared at us, completely confused. Cole, finally calming down, wiped his eyes and looked at her with a smile. "Love" he said, his voice smooth, "we're not being threatened by the Mafia." he let the words settle in the air for a second.
