Chapter 1: The Move
The Thompson family's move to the small, quiet town of Greystone was supposed to be a fresh start. The sprawling old house on the edge of town had seemed charming and full of potential when they first saw it. Lily, at sixteen, was initially excited about the change, hoping it would be an opportunity to reinvent herself away from the pressures and cliques of her old school.
The first few days were spent unpacking and settling in. The house was larger than their previous home, with creaky wooden floors and a dusty attic filled with forgotten relics.The air inside had a distinct musty smell, and Lily couldn't shake the feeling that the house had been waiting for someone to fill its empty rooms.

Sooner or later she's going to attract the attention of something a lot worse that neighbours, sheriffs or even monsters, and she's not sure if she'll be able to save herself let alone her monsters.
