Riley wakes up with a pounding headache and a cold shiver he cannot seem to shake. Dazed, he stares up at the white tile ceiling listening to the beeping of a heart monitor. An unfamiliar ceiling... in an unfamiliar place. With no recollection of where he's been.
This story is a MAJOR work in progress.
I would love to hear suggestions and feedback. I know it is VERY slow moving.
It's just a super rough of a lengthy story that's been in decades of production.

When horrible music is played and it is unbearable for the living to hear but the ill and dying love it, it's so beautiful that they seek death, and the dead rise to listen to it. This was unusual, I was normally home alone for a few hours before my parents arrived. "That's weird, why is everyone home?" I asked out loud. It was more for me then anyone else. "Aren't you home for a few hours by yourself?" Leslie questioned, her brown eyes staring into mine. "Yeah, I hope nothing bad has happened. Well only one way to find out" I said as I gathered up the courage to walk in. On the inside I was freaking out, my parents would only come home early if there was an emergency. I unlocked the door to hear voices coming from the living room. Dropping my bags I stopped dead in my tracks, one voice sounded very familiar a little too familiar. No it couldn't be him, we moved away years ago. He wouldn't have the nerve to face me after what he did, coward. Slowly dragging my feet I made my way to the living room. The World Within
Riley thought she knew enough to make it through this life. After making it to the island, it turns out she hadn't made it too far through any of her other ones either. The world within tests not only her limits but her reality's too. From magical powers, creatures and beings to blood curses and century long hate fueled wars. The more she learns, the more she realizes she's lost. So many questions, so little answers. So many enemies, not enough friends.
Just a dream (I can feel you staring at me)
He still remembers it. The sound of bones breaking. The ringing. The voices. Their voices. His voice. But it shouldn't be possible. He sat in his bed, the darkness of the night making it hard to see at first. Sweat on his face- no whole body made it seem like just a bad dream. It was just that, wasn't it? Just a bad dream. But why was he feeling like he was being watched? Someones, or somethings eyes on his neck. Just waiting for a moment of weakness. Waiting for Finney to let his guard down, just to snap it. Something that only worsens it though, is that the other boys, which he had dreamed about, seem weird, strangely different than before. Or, Finney wakes up in the past with memories of the basement, but is telling himself it was nothing but a bad dream. But, of course, it is not. Because what kind of person am I to just let him and the other grave-boys just forget? Fair warning for this fic, English isn't my first language, so mistakes can/will happen. Secondly, some supernatural stuff will happen and will be discussed, but only in a way, that I think fits kinda in the story. (originally posted on my AO3 MariDreamLove )Complete
