James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes is HYDRA's second winter soldier... after Mary "Mare" Boyd. Mary was a childhood friend of Steve Rodgers and Bucky Barnes who ended up in HYDRA's hands after she enlisted in the military disguised as a male. After years of working for HYDRA, Mary is saved and rehabilitated to live a normal life, thinking that Bucky Barnes is dead. When Bucky makes a sudden reappearance into Mary's life, she has to rethink everything she knows but at what cost.
