Embering Heart

In a world mixed with humans and supernaturals blood shed is only natural. A system created so all species can be safe and treated fairly. A Judicial system was put in place for all. Humans, vampires, werewolves, faeries , and witches/ warlocks. Leaders from all species are to appoint one person to represent them. Those representative are what make the Coalesce Society.

Every other full moon for the past 3 months there's been a species missing. One the first full moon, a female fairy. On the second a male werewolf , a human boy and the last species missing was a warlock .

The Coalesce Society holds a hearing and all the leaders are gathering. Everyone suspects the other. Who's the culprit and what is happening?!!

Ceciliana the human subordinate is called in to represent while the leader is away, suspects Kristopher the vampire elder. As the hearing is being held she catches Kristopher's eye. And what Kristopher wants, he gets.

" What a sweet smell. I've never smelled anything like it" I hear in my left ear, lips caressing the shell of it. Gasping I stumble back I come face to face with dilating pupils several colors swirling together that reminds me of a setting sunset. I quickly catch my balance and straighten my shoulders. Now is not the time to show any weaknesses!

" Hello Kristopher I don't think we've gotten the chance to meet face to face." I hold out my hand for him to shake. He looks at me holding his gaze I see my reflection in them. Big round chocolate eyes, round button nose, full lips top and bottom. He finally reaches out to take my hand. His fingers remind me of a pianist long and elegant, his hands engulfs mine.

" A shame. Had I known how ethereal you looked I would have met you sooner. Are you sure you're not part fae?" Before I can speak the hand shaking mine is suddenly at his parted lips.
