An Owl as My Only Witness

In the dark of night a crime took place. The evidence is there but none can trace, a cunning criminal and a messy murder. A struggle took place! With no other witness than the owl laid perched on a few twisted branches. He peeks past the blinds, a witness to the scene, by the light of the moon, he saw it all what remains unseen.
His calls still ring out at the dead of night; "Who did it? Who? Who's the culprit? Who done the deed? I hope to know the name of WHO indeed!"
