Karkat Vantas is kind of just, well, a normal troll, I guess. He moves back to his hometown to try and get his life in check a bit, not expecting to make all of the friends he does on the way, as well as love interests. His life seems to get a lot better after he meets a certain shade wearing blonde named Dave Strider. The two quickly became good friends, both denying their obvious feelings towards one another, and just as they were starting to sort them out together, things just go down hill.

In this AU, all of the trolls also live on Earth, and there's no SBURB.

The ships is this are Davekat, Rosemary, Dirkjake, slight Erisol and Arasol, Gamtav, as well as a little bit of Vrisrezi, Davejohn, and Davejade
