After Bowser is betrayed by his own creations, he is forced to team up with Waluigi, Donkey Kong, King K Rool and Purple Yoshi in order to bring down the new threat, not just to Earth, but the entire galaxy. 
Meanwhile, Waluigi himself is struggling to cope with the absence of Rosalina, he feels alone again.  He becomes more determined than ever to free her from the calamity that Bowser created.
