THE GATE KEEPERS

In a world where humans and supernatural beings coexist, the Gate Keeper families have always protected the delicate balance between the two realms for generations. The three clans - the Kobayashi, the Ishikawa, the Shimizu, - have sworn to defend the gates against any threat.
As generations pass, the associates of the evil in the supernatural realm gain power and eventually surpass the three gate keeper clans, breaking free from their realm and invading the living world. Their ultimate goal is to eradicate the three clans, paving their way for the True evil - The Demons to enter the living world and claim dominion over all realms. However, as time goes on, the new generations of Gate Keepers are kept in dark about their true purpose and heritage, hidden from the truth about their crucial role in protecting the balance between worlds.
