Space Captain Lambda is the hero of the cosmos and defender of justice! After saving a planet from the threat of for-profit healthcare, he is sent to the edge of the galaxy to save a scientist who crashed on a hostile world ruled by an empire of rigid rules. This is an original work blending the vibes, styles and worlds of Flash Gordon (1936 and '80) and Barbarella ('68), if Flash was a trans dude.

This is meant to recall some of the styles and understandings of the various eras of Flash Gordon and Barbarella with all of the camp and cheese. So yes the science is fanciful, the terminology dated and it will occasionally get as horny as thinly veiled French erotica. It's queer, specifically trans, af so if you're not into that don't stay.

This is intended to echo the vibe of the old serials of the 10-40s, not a novel. You're not flowing from one chapter to the next but coming back to the cinema the next week and seeing a recap if you missed the last one. Ezra thought his grades would get him posted to a place in the Navy that reflected his ability, something like First Fleet, the Raiding Nine, or even Home Guard. Humanity's enemy the Preshk where attacking more often and Ezra wanted to be contributing directly to the war effort. Instead he got put on a Scout ship with just one other soul and sent on a five month mission out into deep space. The mission quickly becomes more than the young commander could have ever expected and the fate of humanity lies in how fast he can return back to humanity. This short story is just over 18,000 words and contains sexual content between two men, so If that's not your cup of tea.. don't read :) This is my first attempt at something like this, so feedback is welcome, though be nice :)

Or what happened to two of them. Suffice to say nothing is fine. *** Reasons to read the Olympus Drive Series 1. LGBTQ rep throughout 2. Happy endgame gays/lesbians and polyamory as well asexuality and grey aces 3. Lots of references to Greek/Roman Mythology 4. Trans, genderfluid, and non-binary characters with arcs that don't revolve around their sexuality 5. Plenty of happy/positive relationships 6. But your favorite ship WILL be a 10,000 year old space alien and an undead detective 7. All dark/heavy topics are addressed or resolved in a positive manner 8. Postive female friendships and romantic relationships, without cheating 9. Essentially any relationship structure or sexuality you can think of comes up at one point or another 10. The queen of the dead gets a sword forged from blood Trigger Warning: Some violence and creature violence. Mild peril. Fantasy violence throughout. Extensive injuries shown. Brief fantasy violence (a character is shot point blank but we know the character cannot be injured, that type of thing). Peril to child characters throughout, though it is fantasy peril. Content Warning: Profanity throughout. Sex/sexuality discussed at length, at an R rated level though little is shown. Oh and...in case the tags didn't give it away there's heavy references to Greek mythology, therefore only like one character is actually straight.
